Gtalk- RIP

Hi, Folks, Hope you are doing well. This post is regarding the new update about Google.

As we know that few things replaced for the better purpose. Therefore, today is the day when the Gchat (known as "Gchat," "Gtalk", or "Gmessage") is getting replaced with Hangout. Gchat was a huge way of communicating on the internet back in the early 2000s. Gchat’s run as the king of instant-messaging started back in 2005.

Fortunately, Google has at least seven other messaging services that you can use, including Allo, Duo, Hangouts, Android Messages, Voice, and Supersonic Fun Voice Messenger, so you’ve got plenty of other options to use going forward.

Hangout actually came back on May 15, 2013, as a more featured filled, but users have been stuck with the old version. The legacy Google Talk Android app, which hasn’t been available for years now and unfortunately it will stop functioning. Those users are, of course, “encouraged” to install Hangouts.

On the other side, we can say that the move is to compel users to join Hangouts as Google sees it as the future of messaging. After closing down social networking site Orkut on Sep 30, 2014, Google is stopping the operations of one more popular Google product.

R.I.P Gtalk and Thank you for your services.
