Google bought and announced GIF platform Tenor for Android, iOS, and desktop. Tenor intends to help Google move up GIFs more easily among Google's images and other services like Gboard. Noteworthy is that Tenor is a GIF platform Facebook uses for messenger services, making it easier for users to send GIFs. Whether this acquisition will change it is unknown.
